In a Singaporean survey conducted with 2,000 consumers and 300 retail businesses, a striking disparity emerged between what shoppers desire and where businesses are focusing their efforts.

  • 62% of consumers will abandon their cart if delivery is too expensive whereas 26% of retailers are focused on expanding their product offering.

  • Speed and payment choice are top checkout concerns for consumers while 42% of retailers are battling with technical debt
